All About Birds!

In this class you’ll learn all about birds and have the opportunity to build a Bird House.

The class will be held in Kula’s greenhouse, please register below (free).

We’ll start the class with a talk from Vance Sicherman who is a local bird enthusiast. He'll teach you all about birds and will be able to answer all your bird questions. And if you decide to stay to build a bird house ($20.-), he’ll stay around to entertain you with some nice local bird facts and will also be able to help you find the best place to hang it.

The Kula team has been perfecting their own bird house design for this workshop. You will still get to decide yourself which birds you would prefer to attract with it by deciding the entry opening size.

Birds are great to have around, they'll help suppress pests in your garden and will entertain you with their beautiful songs.

You can purchase the Bird House Kit for $20.- in our online store. It will be made out of a single wood board, that will be precut in the right sizes for you. All further necessary tools and materials will be provided. You can build it all by yourself, or bring a friend to help you. Four hands will make it easier than two. We’ll also be there to assist. Minors should be accompanied by an adult.

The class is free, the bird house kit is optional, you can buy the kit in our online store until May 19.
