Neighbors Helping Neighbors: When you give to Interfaith Neighbors, that is what you are doing…

Your donations not only assist working families who might be one crisis away from losing their home, but can help ensure seniors on a fixed income have healthy daily meals and a visit from a friendly face.

Contributions also support our Launch Center personal and business development initiatives and job and career training programs that works to help people soar. Our Kula Urban Farm, providing education and fresh produce to the community also benefits when you make a gift to Interfaith Neighbors.

Be a part of your community!

By giving today, you can help all families reach their potential.

At Interfaith Neighbors, $0.87 of every dollar donated supports direct service programs for members of our community.

In 2019, that totaled $3,754,075 in program services; with $1,323,098 of those dollars contributed by individuals, private grants and donations.

Our goal this year is to raise an additional $1 million to expand our impactful programs that strengthen families and local businesses, supports seniors and helps young people entering the workforce take flight toward a promising future.

We can only do this with your help. Here are some of the ways your donation will make a difference:

Homeless Prevention

During our 30+ years, we’ve learned that many families are just one crisis away from losing their home. An extended illness, loss of a job or even a major car repair can put a family months behind on their rent or mortgage payments. Your support directly provides short term stipends to families to get through these difficult times.

Helping Seniors Stay in their Own Homes

Too often, limited fixed-income, loss of mobility and isolation are the causes behind our senior population being forced to leave their own homes. Your support helps our Meals on Wheels and Congregate Nutrition programs deliver and serve over 1,100 meals each day across Monmouth County.

Reducing Underemployment and Unemployment

Finding a job that can support you and your family can be hard. Your support provides support for those entering the workforce for the first time, re-entering the workforce, or seeking to grow their employment options into a career.  Interfaith Neighbors workforce development programs work to develop skills tied directly to local employment opportunities in our area.

Supporting First-Time Home Buyers and Entrepreneurs

Owning a home or a business can truly lift a family or individual out of poverty. When you support Interfaith Neighbors you are supporting the creation of new affordable housing, entrepreneurial training and business planning.

I don’t live in Asbury Park. Why should I give?

Interfaith Neighbors, Inc. serves all of Monmouth County. Residents from across Monmouth County can access IFN’s Rental and Mortgage Assistance programs, Senior Nutrition and Meals on Wheels programs.
