Event Details:
Have you ever wondered how you can show kindness to someone by giving them a rock? Join us on April 16th as we decorate Kindness Rocks for the Kula Farm and our own gardens. Will you create a rock with a kind quote, or paint a fruit or vegetable picture, decorate a plant or flower on the rock or turn your rock into an animal or an insect?
Also, wouldn’t it be awesome to help beautify our planting area with a fairy garden? Come check out ways to create a small magical spot in your garden, a special place to focus on the small details of nature and to explore the range of your imagination. Most of all, it will be a place to have fun!
Please join Ms. Michele Morey the George L Catrambone School Green Team Leader in the Long Branch School District as students will make these discoveries to enhance and create their own works of art out in the garden. She believes, every child blossoms at their own pace and together they can make a beautiful garden. The love of nature is in all of us. We just may show it in all different ways!
