Two years ago, we launched a new tradition to honor an old one.
Seventeen years after organizing a surprise wiffleball tournament for Bob’s 50th birthday, our family came together again—this time to celebrate his legacy with the inaugural Bob K Memorial Wiffleball Tournament. Since then, it’s become something truly special: a day filled with laughter, competition, and community, just the way Bob would’ve liked it.
Once again, coming together on his birthday, we’re thrilled to announce the Third Annual Bob K Memorial Wiffleball Tournament on Saturday, August 9th, 2025 at the Allenhurst Beach Club.
In partnership with Interfaith Neighbors, we continue to honor Bob’s legacy by giving back to a cause close to his heart. Bob was passionate about helping others—especially underserved families in his local community. As a landlord, neighbor, and friend, “Mr. Bob” brought joy in simple, heartfelt ways: handing out candy during check-ins, donating basketball hoops, or offering Italian ice on hot summer days. Interfaith Neighbors shares that same spirit of giving, offering vital support to families in need throughout Asbury Park and Monmouth County.
Thanks to your incredible generosity, last year we raised over $30,000 for Interfaith Neighbors. This year, we’re aiming even higher.
Whether you’re playing ball, cheering from the sand, or supporting with a donation, we invite you to be part of something meaningful. Let’s come together again—laugh, compete, reminisce, and most of all, carry forward the joy that Bob brought to so many.
The Shama Lama Swing Longs took home the trophy last year—who’s coming for the crown in 2025?
Join us, Honor Bob, and love your neighbor.
As Bob would say, “The bigger, the better. And the more, the merrier.”
In loving memory of Bob Klimowicz (1956 – 2020)
