Learn about Africa through drumming and plants!
Through the use of drumming and plants, participants will gain an understanding of African culture and nature. This will include drumming demonstrations, an opportunity to make and play a small African drum, and sampling products made from plants grown in Africa.
Materials for the making of the drum will be provided and you may bring your drum if you’d like for a mini drum circle towards the end of the workshop!
A workshop by Sister Isis who will be assisted by Teresa Maltz and Lucy Brinew.
