Event Details:

This workshop will explain how you can use free or low cost resources to supply your garden's soil with more nutrition, beneficial microbiology, and improve its water holding capacity. You'll learn how to build and maintain a compost pile the right way to reap the many benefits of composting!

 

About the presenter:
Lori is new to this area but not to organic farming. She has managed and worked on small scale organic vegetable farms in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Louisiana since 2004 and has now joined the Kula Farm team. She received her Bachelors of Science in Horticulture from New Mexico State University with a concentration in sustainable agriculture.

Space for this workshop is limited. We’ll add more dates if there is a lot of interest.
All participants are asked to keep distance, wash/sanitize hands on arrival and masks will be required indoors for those who are not fully vaccinated.
