Event Details:
Join us at the Kula Farm for a workshop all about mushrooms. Learn how to cultivate them outdoors using low tech methods, and how to cook a satisfying oyster mushroom dish. Participants will taste some delicious mushrooms and leave with some of their own to cook at home.
This workshop will be given by Deanna Greene, a Sustainability and Urban Farming educator based in NYC. She explores the role of fungi as a food source, as medicine, as an ecological ally and as a model for building relationships with each other and the Earth.
— This workshop is free — Registration required, see below.
Space for this workshop is limited. We’ll add more dates if there is a lot of interest.
All participants are asked to keep distance, wash/sanitize hands on arrival and masks will be required indoors for those who are not fully vaccinated.
Everyone is asked to complete a health check / release form. The form will be available upon arrival and can be downloaded -here-.
