Our Backyard Herbal Gathering: Empowering Community through Earth’s Medicine

June 11 @ 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Free

Mission: Cultivating a foundation with our local communities, we reclaim the power of Earth’s medicine by remembering and re-learning ancestral practices of healing in community and support of one another. Together we can nourish each other, strengthen our roots, rise in empowerment and heal for generations to come.

Our Backyard Herbal Gathering is a community gathering organized by the local community to provide a safe, educational and nourishing space for BIPOC herbalists and community to gather and learn from one another, connect and support. Our intention is to create spaces of remembering and re-learning ancestral practices of healing in community and support of one another and bring more resources into our communities. All are welcome to attend.

Almal:

Curious about how to utilize herbs to remove dis-ease from your body? OBHG is thrilled to share space with herbalist @universoulhealing_silver at our event in June.

He will be speaking during our event to explore UniverSOUL Healing while providing information on our wonderful bodies and how you can use herbs to keep your body free from toxins.

Plant medicine is potent and by understanding our plant kin, we can better understand our own bodies and the world around us.

Aryelle:

We are so excited to conclude OBHG event with the loving and healing sound medicine provided by our dear friend and sister, @aryellealysha

Sound bowls can be made from a variety of materials including metals and crystals. The first singing bowls were made of different metals over 5,000 years ago in Mesopotamia. They have been used since then in various forms of healing practices.

✨They support and stimulate calm brain waves which can support better concentration, release of blockages and tensions, and can provide more energy in day-to-day living.

✨The sound frequencies can help to reduce pain, support deep relaxation, and muscle regeneration. The support the flow of energy and elimination of toxins from the body.
