Event Details:
Our former Kula Club host Natalie Hayes is now leading the Be S-well program at the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide. We congratulate her with the new role and are happy to see that she'll bring her new club members to the Farm for a Environmental Wellness inspired Scavenger Hunt!
The Be S-Well Club is open to high school students in New Jersey, who are interested in learning more about mental health and wellness, stress management, resiliency, and how to help peers in need.
Since 2015, over 550 high school students have participated in what was formerly known as the Youth Council. Students will participate in monthly meetings that focus on the components of the Wellness Wheel – emotional, intellectual, physical, social, environmental, financial, and spiritual wellness. Students will also learn about their role in suicide prevention, the importance of going to a trusted adult when they need help, and local and national resources.
If you are interested in joining the Be S-Well Club, please complete the member form.
If you have any questions, please contact Be S-Well Program Manager, Natalie Hayes-Scott at [email protected]
