$500,000 budgeted from Meeting the Moment Campaign
Interfaith Neighbors has acquired an adjacent parcel of vacant land that will allow the Kula Urban Farm to increase growing operations, expand seasonal farming beds, as well as build a 3-seaon pavilion to host our community workshops and educational initiatives including youth STEM programs in expanded space. Additionally, this new expansion will include on-site restrooms and an on-site kitchen to allow us to continue our successful Farm to Table event series with local guest chefs.
Project Status
Interfaith Neighbors completed acquisition of the adjacent parcel of land for the project in early 2023. The project has been approved by the City of Asbury Park Planning Board and received zoning approval. Interfaith Neighbors is currently awaiting issuance of a construction permit from the City to begin construction during the summer of 2024. The project is expected to be completed by early 2025.
