Bob K Classic

Eighteen years ago, in honor of Bob’s 50th birthday, our family organized a surprise wiffleball tournament.

Over food, fun, and a lot of friendly competition, we celebrated our beloved father, husband, uncle, and friend, whose infectious joy always brought smiles to our faces.

This year, we are thrilled to announce the Second Annual Bob K Memorial Wiffleball Tournament, taking place on Saturday, August 24, 2024. 

In partnership with Interfaith Neighbors, we’re continuing our tradition of honoring Bob’s legacy while supporting a cause dear to his heart. Bob was deeply committed to helping those in need, and as a landlord for underserved families, he made a significant impact in the local community. Whether it was passing out candy during residence check-ins, scooping Italian ice on hot summer days, or donating basketball hoops, “Mr. Bob” always brought smiles to the faces of his tenants and their children. Interfaith Neighbors shares Bob’s values by providing financial and other vital assistance to lower-income families in Asbury Park and Monmouth County. Therefore, all proceeds from the tournament will once again be donated to Interfaith Neighbors. We invite you to join us in honoring Bob’s memory by participating in the tournament and/or making a donation. Your support helps to continue Bob’s mission of bringing smiles to the faces of those in need.

Last year, with your incredible support, we raised over $20,000 for Interfaith Neighbors! This year, our goal is even bigger as we aim to make an even greater impact on the lives of those in need. The Beach Bombers claimed victory as our inaugural champions, and we’re eager to see who will rise to the challenge this year.

Let’s come together once again, have fun, and honor the memory of Bob—a remarkable man who devoted his life to spreading joy throughout our community.
