This workshop will demonstrate the what, where and when of your organic vegetable Spring garden planting.

You will learn what plants to get growing, how to start them, when to plant, different techniques of planting and how to make sure they flourish throughout the growing season, all without the use of synthetic inputs.

If you are new to growing, this workshop will be a helpful kickstart to your new garden. If you have been gardening forever, this workshop just may give you those helpful hints you crave each year!

You will go home with a six pack of your choice of seeded plants, additional seeds varieties are available in our online store.

KEEPING IT SAFE
All participants are asked to keep distance, wash/sanitize hands on arrival and masks will be required indoors. Everyone will have to complete a health check form incl. a temperature check and a release form. These forms will be made available for review prior to arrival.

About the presenter:
Lori is new to this area but not to organic farming. She has managed and worked on small scale organic vegetable farms in Pennsylvania, New Mexico, and Louisiana since 2004. She received her Bachelors of Science in Horticulture from New Mexico State University with a concentration in sustainable agriculture. Lori plans on hosting several seasonal garden related workshops at the Farm that will be in line with the time of year.
