Prenatal Community Yoga - for Optimal Baby Positioning

Mondays July 13, 20 & 27,  5:30 - 6:15pm,  Free / donations welcomed

“Prenatal Yoga for Optimal Baby Positioning” is a 75 min moderate class safe for all trimesters and pregnant bodies.  Our class begins with a 15 min “Community Check-in Circle”, followed by a labor-preparation sequence designed to create space for baby to move into an optimal position and encourage opening of the pelvic inlet and outlet– essential physiological movements for a healthy natural birth.  In addition to breath-led flow to ease common pregnancy aches, each practice includes pelvic-core breathing, pelvic bowl strength and mobility exercises, and a peak “labor management tool” to train your mind, body & breathing to ride the waves of physical labor pain and intensity. Strengthening your intuition and energetically connecting with your baby is woven throughout each breath and class theme!

Bring a yoga mat, beach towel, pillow or bolster, and bottle of water to stay hydrated!

Christine is a trained Prenatal Yoga Teacher & Birth Doula, certified INNATE Postpartum Care Practitioner, certified Vinyasa Yoga & Breathwork Coach, and creator of “Yoga for Pelvic Health”.  She supports mothers and families with continuous physiological birth care– beginning with preparing the female body, mind and spirit to surrender to natural birth, and ending with nourishing the postpartum mother-baby dyad with rest, warmth, bodywork, and co-regulation for optimal family bonding, feeding and birth healing.
