Come find out how to use free or low cost materials to supply your soil with more nutrition, beneficial microbiology, and water holding capacity. You’ll learn how to build and maintain a compost heap the right way and reap the many benefits of on site composting.

We will also dive into worm farming and take a look at how worms could be a great addition to your gardening efforts.

Classes are organized by Lori Garton, assistant manager of the Kula Farm. She holds a Bachelors of Science in Horticulture and has been working on organic farms for over 15 years.
