Chris Mumford has a passion for both cooking and gardening! He is a retired chef that created vegetable gardens at the restaurants where he worked so he could offer more nutritional/fresh greens.
Chris had his own Café Mumfords in Tinton Falls but recently laid down the chefs hat and started Hay Mumford Farms, where he sells fresh produce and much more. Check out : www.haymumford.com
It is not the first time for Chris to cater a Farm to Table dinner here at Kula and we are very excited to have him back.

Appetizer: Home made Naan bread, Harissa, charred cauliflower and crumbled Feta Cheese.
Salad: Kula Greens with roasted carrots, dried fruit, candied pecans and shaved Beemster cheese. Dressed with a citrus vinaigrette.
Entrée: Stuffed free range chicken leg with traditional Thanksgiving stuffing, scalloped potatoes, roasted honey nut squash and orange chicken jus lié.
Dessert: Lemon cake with blueberry compote and whipped cream.
Doors open at 5:30, dinner promptly served at 6pm.
There usually is plenty of parking available in the parking lot next to the farm.
Comfortable shoes are suggested, the farm has mulch and gravel walkways.
This event is BYOB so don’t forget to bring your favorite beer/wine.
