Delivering Some Christmas Cheer

December 20, 2018 3:29 pm

We all know that December is the season of giving,  and it is on full display here at Interfaith Neighbors. Each year, Interfaith Neighbors reaches out to friends and supporters to help us with a Holiday Adopt-A-Family gift program to support those families Interfaith Neighbors has  helped through the  year through the Rental and Mortgage Assistance program.

Interfaith Neighbors Rental and Mortgage Assistance program helps over 350 individuals and families each year.   The Program is designed to assist families or individuals who are experiencing a temporary crisis that results in unanticipated expenses or loss of income, creating instability in their housing. During the holidays, many of these families are still working to stabilize their finances.

Interfaith Neighbors would like to express our thanks to all the individuals, businesses and organizations that adopted families  this year, contributed their time, gifts or made financial donations.  Through your generosity, 112 families were served so far this year with the holiday gift program.

“Thank you for all the help and support your organization has again helped our family with. Christmas is possible due to the love and kindness that your organization continues to show now and throughout the year. It’s wonderful to have faith in people and the kindness of others restored, especially at the holidays. Twice your organization has been able to help our family through the roughest of times, and  there are not words enough to thank you all.” – Rental and Mortgage Assistance Program Participant
