Handmade cards of any kind are a thoughtful and simple way to communicate with people and are a joy to make. Reasons to make cards at this time are many: Winter Solstice, Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanza and of course Birthdays, Anniversaries, Get Well and your general -Hello How Ya Doing?

BRING YOUR ADDRESS BOOK and join us in making and writing out cards using recycled paper with our friend and artist Mark Davis. Once you have finished we will take the card to the post office for you! We will provide STAMPS!

Feel Free to bring anything you have been keeping like old cards, photos, decorative paper to use in a creative way. We will provide a wide variety of papers, and collage materials as well as glue, scissors markers and envelopes.

Mark Davis is a local artist, gardener and recycling and composting advocate. He lives lightly on the earth and with little luggage in Long Branch with his loving family.

Lisa B manages Kula farm and is a maker of many things and prefers anything second hand, vintage or handmade by local artisans and crafters to what you can buy in the stores.
