We will talk about how the weather changes in winter, what you can do to protect your plants from the cold, and what herbs and veggies thrive in a cold climate. Come out and garden with us!

Natalie Hayes is a science teacher at Asbury Park High School. She is currently seeking a master’s degree in plant Biology at Rutgers University and has worked with the Monmouth Conservation Foundation to bring more environmental education to Asbury Park. Natalie is a gardener herself, and takes a strong interest in small space growing, herbal plant care, and heirloom gardening.
